Arctic Skylight Lodge offers double rooms with a three-sided glass ceiling that allows guests to view the night sky from bed. Each room includes air conditioning, a work desk, and a private bathroom with a shower and limited hot water (approximately 15 minutes per hour). Soundproof walls, allergy-free options, and a key-card access system are provided in every unit.

Dining

The on-site restaurant serves European cuisine with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, and a continental buffet breakfast with fresh pastries, cheese, fruits, and juice is included. A 3-course dinner is available for guests, with wine pairings and special diet menus upon request. The bar and coffee house on site offer wine, champagne, and other beverages.

Wellness

The spa and wellness centre includes a hot tub, sauna, and ice hole in a frozen lake, available at an additional charge of €140 to €150 per 1.5-hour session. Spa facilities, a spa lounge, and a relaxation area are part of the property, but use of the sauna and jacuzzi is not included in the room rate. Guests can also rent bicycles to explore the surrounding forest trails.

The lodge is set in a forest 5 km from Äkäslompolo town center and 41 km from Kolari Train Station and 51 km from Kittilä Airport. Cross-country skiing tracks pass directly behind the property, and hiking, cycling, and snowmobiling are available nearby. Northern lights visibility from the glass cabins is a primary draw, with guests reporting aurora sightings from their beds.
